Ellen + Richard | Elegant Outdoor Wedding at Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas

It was a mission trip that brought Ellen and Richard initially together. They became fast friends sharing a lot in common: they were both from Westlake, and while they did not know each other in high school, their siblings and parents did. Also, Richard and Ellen were both pre-med students at Texas A&M at the time.
The mission trip would prove to be more than their meeting place, as it was there that Ellen was inspired to change her major from pre-med to pre-dental. She was impressed by the dentists on the trip and how they could serve others.

Richard and Ellen’s relationship saw them through their college days at Texas A&M, and then Dallas where Ellen is in dental school and where Richard recently graduated from medical school.
Ellen and Richard planned an elegant yet laid-back wedding at Vista West Ranch under the massive oaks and overlooking the beautiful Texas hill country. Their First Look was the absolute sweetest! It also allowed for a lovely and relaxed timeline, and once we finished family photos, their guests quickly went back into the A.C. for respite from the warmth. We snuck away after dinner for some beautiful sunset photos!

I love how Richard and Ellen contrast one another in how they display their joy! Richard is much more reserved (although you can easily see him melt when he plays with his fur baby, Winston), while Ellen throws her head back with laughter. They are both incredibly warm and kind-hearted, and they were surrounded by hugs and smiles through the entire day.
