It was a mission trip that brought Ellen and Richard initially together. They became fast friends sharing a lot in common: they were both from Westlake, and while they did not know each other in high school, their siblings and parents did. Also, Richard and Ellen were both pre-med students at Texas A&M at the time. The mission trip would prove to be more than their meeting place, as it was there that Ellen was inspired to change her major from pre-med to pre-dental. She was impressed by the dentists on the trip and how they could serve others.

Their relationship saw them through their college days at Texas A&M, and both headed to Dallas where Ellen could pursue dental school and where Richard is currently in the process of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. While their days are full of studying and working, their beloved golden retriever, Winston, fills their days with warm cuddles and happy dog grins!

Ellen and Richard will wed this May at Vista West Ranch, and I absolutely can’t wait to photograph it all! Congrats, Ellen and Richard!
