Kevin and Rebecca met when Rebecca got a job at the restaurant where Kevin was general manager. He was drawn to Rebecca at first mostly because they were around the same age. They hung out for a while as friends and pretended that they were seeing a movie together just as friends. Kevin and Rebecca definitely were aware of the romantic potential between them though. They finally made their relationship official to friends and family when they posted a picture of themselves together at a Texas A&M football game.
Kevin was immediately attracted to Rebecca’s ambition. When they met, Rebecca just began nursing school, and Kevin had the sense that Rebecca was going places. He knew she was pushing herself, and he was impressed by her determination. Rebecca, in turn, noticed Kevin’s sparkly blue eyes, and laughed at all of his nerdy jokes.
Last spring on May 31, 2015, Kevin and Rebecca headed out to dinner to celebrate Kevin’s birthday. However, they did not get past the apartment parking lot when Kevin dropped down to one knee and proposed. Rebecca was stunned and they both cannot remember what exactly was said and how it went down! They just know they were both filled with happiness. Rebecca laughs at the timing of the proposal, saying that her birthday present to Kevin was agreeing to marry him.
Kevin is most looking forward to when he and Rebecca exchange rings on their wedding day because it will represent their commitment and endless bond. Rebecca is anticipating the moment her father walks her down the aisle and seeing Kevin’s face at the front of the ceremony site.
