When Morgan saw Chris’s face, she swiped right, and it was a match made in Tinder heaven. Morgan, a high school English teacher and volleyball coach, reluctantly agreed to meet Chris, an oil equipment quality inspector, on a date after school. Her only hesitation was that she was exhausted after a long day of work, and didn’t have the time and energy to really doll herself up. She agreed though, and in pulled-up hair and glasses, she went to meet him. As soon as Morgan met Chris and laid eyes on his face, she immediately regretted not putting in more effort and excused herself to the bathroom to do her hair and makeup. She honestly did not think he would be THAT insanely cute!
Morgan fell for Chris and the way he always makes her laugh and smile. Chris was smitten for Morgan’s outrageous and silly personality. (Not to mention, the girl is stunning!) Chris proposed on December 6, 2014, in front of the giant Christmas tree in down town Houston at City Hall. I asked Morgan if she expected the proposal and I loved her response. She said, “I knew it was going to happen sometime soon. But I didn’t know it would be that day. I thought that was just an ordinary day. But it made it extraordinary day.”
Morgan and Chris were married The Creek Haus in Dripping Springs, Texas. Morgan’s family is Canadian so she incorporated some fun details such as maple syrup wedding favors. Coordinate This planned everything perfectly and had the day running smoothly. Petal Pushers did an amazing job with all of the florals. Vixen Onsite Hair and Makeup made everyone so beautiful, and Classic Cakes by Lori provided the delicious sweets. Letters and Grace provided beautiful calligraphy on the Canadian maple syrup wedding favors.
