When Morgan saw Chris’s face, she swiped right, and it was a match made in Tinder heaven. Morgan, a high school English teacher and volleyball coach, reluctantly agreed to meet Chris, an oil equipment quality inspector, on a date after school. Her only hesitation was that she was exhausted after a long day of work, and didn’t have the time and energy to really doll herself up. She agreed though, and in pulled-up hair and glasses, she went to meet him. As soon as Morgan met Chris and laid eyes on his face, she immediately regretted not putting in more effort and excused herself to the bathroom to do her hair and makeup. She honestly did not think he would be THAT insanely cute!
Morgan fell for Chris and the way he always makes her laugh and smile. Chris was smitten for Morgan’s outrageous and silly personality. (Not to mention, the girl is stunning!) Chris proposed on December 6, 2014, in front of the giant Christmas tree in down town Houston at City Hall. I asked Morgan if she expected the proposal and I loved her response. She said, “I knew it was going to happen sometime soon. But I didn’t know it would be that day. I thought that was just an ordinary day. But it made it an extraordinary day.”
When Morgan asked for an After-Session, I was ecstatic to get this couple in front of my camera again! They came adorned in their wedding clothes and we headed out into the prettiest of light. I love that they chose to take advantage of this session to get them many more couple’s portraits. Hair and makeup are by Kiss By Katie.
