When Marci was fifteen years old, she was hanging out near the school after a basketball game. A kid walked up she had never seen before. Immediately, she wondered, “Wow! Where did this guy come from?” As a sixteen year-old in a military family, Cameron had done his share of moving and was new to town. When he laid eyes on Marci, he thought she was unlike any girl he had ever met before. The two hit it off instantly and continued dating throughout high school and as they attended college at Texas State in San Marcos.
In the nine years of their relationship, Marci and Cameron talked often about getting engaged. However, they both wanted to put their efforts into building their careers first. So when Cameron proposed to Marci on a boat while deep-sea fishing in Florida last July, she initially thought it was a joke! With tears in their eyes, Cameron continued on with his proposal to Marci and put the ring on her finger. She proudly showed it off and wore it throughout the day of catching sharks!
The weather on the day of Marci and Cameron’s engagement session was wet and chilly. However, they powered through together and stayed warm with their dog, Jackson. I can’t wait for their wedding at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown in October 2016!
