Lauren and Matthew's Elegant Wedding at Ma Maison in Dripping Springs, Texas

Lauren and Matthew first met while working on a film project in Ethiopia. Although their relationship while on set was discouraged, the two became inseparable. After filming was over, Lauren headed back to her home in Texas, and Matthew returned to his home in New York. However, Matthew was determined to pursue his relationship with Lauren. He accepted an internship in Austin, although his family and friends knew the motivation to move was not work related; he was after a relationship with the Texas beauty.
Their elegant wedding was set in Ma Maison in Dripping Springs, Texas, and the ceremony took place at Ma Maison’s Green Cathedral, an antique French gazebo. Their wedding was at the end of August 2015, and was the perfect introduction to fall with bursts of oranges, reds, and greens, against a back drop of navy. Bouquets of Austin provided the floral arrangements. Lauren hand designed her dress, and her shoes were designed especially for her in Italy. The couple looked absolutely dapper! They partied the night away to the tunes of the Nightowls, a nine-piece soul band from Austin.
