Ashley and Lance’s Engagement Session in Georgetown, Texas

Since UT and A&M no longer play their rival game, I foresee many peaceful Thanksgivings with these two! Lance is a Longhorn and engineer, and Ashley is an Aggie and second-grade teacher. Despite the college rivalry, this is a perfect pair!! Ashley brings out the outgoing side in Lance, and Ashley can’t stop smiling and laughing when she is with him.
Lance planned out the perfect proposal for Ashley. On their trip to Houston, he made plans to stop in a park in San Angelo. He hired a photographer to capture the planned proposal and knew that Ashley would want to be dressed for the occasion. He surprised her with a new dress, which he told her was an early birthday gift. He stopped at the park with their three pups and arranged signs on them, spelling out “Will you marry him?” Lance encouraged Ashley to head off to feed some ducks while he attempted to line up their dogs. Getting the dogs all in perfect order to spell out the all-important question was actually very difficult! Ashley returned to Lance to find him organizing the dogs and quickly realized what was about to happen. She gasped and then told him he could finish getting ready. She turned back around to find him on his knee with the dogs perfectly lined up.
I noticed Ashley had tons of sunflowers pinned to her Wedding Board on Pinterest, so I led them right to where we had found a few remaining patches of the flowers! Ashley and Lance were so incredibly sweet, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding in April 2016.
