Katelyn and Brad met when Katelyn was working at the apartment complex where Brad lived. Brad definitely took notice of her and, even though it was out of his way, he parked his car close to where she was working so he’d have the chance to walk past her. With a bit of match-making on their friends’ part, the two paired up.
Katelyn actually attended the same college as me—Texas Lutheran University! It was so fun to reminisce about good ole TLU together! Katelyn, super sweet and so very organized, was a perfect match for Brad, who is probably the politest guy you could meet. It was so clear that these two were head over heels for each other.
On December 5, 2015, the two wed at Ma Maison. Becky of Pearl Events Austin planned the perfect day, Bouquetsofaustin provided the beautiful florals, the Royal Fig Catering did the catering, and Polkadots Cupcake Factory provided the cakes. Maris Malone Calderón Makeup Artistry did a gorgeous job with makeup and @katiekbabehair did hair. One special touch the guests enjoyed was having a poet, Jena Kirkpatrick, write beautiful poems for the guests on her typewriter.
