Nathan and Christina met at their place of work, T3, an ad agency in Austin, Texas. After three and a half years of knowing one another, they finally took notice of the romantic potential between them. They love the fact that they worked together first because they grew to appreciate each other’s work ethic, and knew they made a great team even before they began dating. Nathan and Christina’s first date was in Gruene, Texas and consisted of dinner and a “really, really bad movie.” Despite the disappointing film, Nathan and Christina continued dating, and Nathan proposed at the 360 bridge in March of 2015.
With Nathan employed as a designer and Christina as a producer, the wedding was sure to be a success. Nathan hand-designed the invitations and hand-made a box for the rings. Christina crafted the hangers for the dresses and hand-made the wedding favors, unique wine corks for the guests to take home. With the ceremony and reception at the Hye Meadow Winery, the wine theme ran throughout with colors of plum and dark reds and a First Look Session in the wine cellar . While Nathan’s mom of The English Florist created all of the florals, his father was the officiant of the ceremony, and a band from Nathan’s hometown of Lake Jackson, the Blue Water Highway Band, kept them dancing all night.
