Sara + Zach | Wedding at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs, Texas

If you are smiling like Sara and Zach on your wedding day, you are doing it right! Their wedding at Canyonwood Ridge in Dripping Springs was full of JOY from beginning to end. Sara mentioned that she did not feel stressed the week of her wedding, and I am sure it was because girlfriend was on it! She planned out everything so carefully, paying close attention and care to details in the months leading up. On particular detail I LOVED was the beautiful black and cream ring boxes. Considering she and Zach arrived at their engagement session in black, cream, and blush, I was not surprised she had beautifully modern but classic details for me to photograph. I adore the robes and slippers Sara and her bridesmaids picked out. I also had never seen a more clutter-free getting ready room! They were all so relaxed and calm, just the sweetest friends there to support Sara. I loved the style of the whole day really!

Brides are always surprised when I ask them to get that hair and makeup done thirty minutes before I arrive. But you know what? It is always worth it. We had time then for the SWEETEST moments. First, Sara shared gifts with her mom and her mom’s spouse, Chris. This brought on the happiest of tears and most loving embraces. Sara also had to open up her new cowboy hat, a gift her husband-to-be, Zach! After all that, her bridesmaids came in to have a First Look with Sara!!! Then we headed out for bridals and bridesmaids photos! Having that extra time to enjoy those moments and not rush through is so important to me!! 🙂

Sara and Zach held their ceremony in the gorgeous Canyonwood chapel. Foxglove and Lace adorned the light fixtures with greenery and lined the aisle with white petals. It was a stunning backdrop for Sara to walk down as she greeted Zach at the front of the alter. Their day continued as they were surrounded by their friends and family. I have to say Sara and Zach both have the kindest, most supportive parents. They all kept expressing how happy they were that Sara and Zach found each other, and while it can be easy to get caught up in the details and distractions of a wedding day, Sara and Zach’s parents kept their focus on celebrating Sara and Zach.

Sara and Zach soaked in every happy moment of their day. It brings me such joy to see the huge smiles from these two, and to know that these incredibly kind souls found each other and are building their life together. Sara and Zach, have the very best time on your honeymoon in Bali! Thank you so much for having me capture your day!
