Kaitlin and Bob radiated joy and excitement from the very second they set foot at Barr Mansion. It was my second time to meet Bob. (The first time we met was when he saw me on a podium after a triathlon! I was covered in dirt, sweat, and questionable lake water, but it was so fun to get it to see him in person!) Kaitlin and her bridesmaids arrived in the CUTEST pjs and fluffy slippers! It was so adorable and cozy-looking. Kaitlin immediately plopped herself on the floor and began preparing her special items for me to photograph. I was immediately enamored with her bridesmaids in the bridal suite because they sat closely around her and excitedly watched as she got everything ready. I love how they focused in on Kaitlin!  Kaitlin getting ready with her mom and sisters was also the sweetest!

Bob and Kaitlin’s First Look was absolutely beautiful! Kaitlin surprised Bob by having her naturally curly hair blown out and then twisted into soft waves. When they saw each other, they were both beautifully overcome with emotion. I love when couples read letters to each other during their First Look because it is a chance to truly connect and also get some of those nerves out of the way! We had a few bridesmaids steal some sneak peeks! Haha!! They took in every moment of their First Look and just kissed and hugged and snuggled. They immediately got their model on and we had a blast taking photos around the mansion.

The ceremony was held beneath the giant oak trees. Lexie Perez of Pearl of Events of Austin and Bouquets of Austin really knocked it out of the park with the design, decor, and florals. Throughout the ceremony, Kaitlin and Bob had the biggest smiles! I LOVE how overjoyed their faces were after their ceremony. They just radiated JOY together! Their guests headed on to cocktail hour for a surprise–Bevo!!! We had a few photo ops in between me freaking out that we were getting too close to that big ole Longhorn!

Kaitlin and Bob began their reception dancing and champagne and Uptown Drive kept them going all night on the dance floor! My favorite is when a band really gets into the crowd and involves everyone; Uptown Drive always gets a great party going!

Kaitlin and Bob, your day was stunningly beautiful. Most memorable to me though is how overjoyed you were to be in each other’s presence. You are so kind and calm with each other. I absolutely adore you two together. Thank you so much for having me capture all the joy of your day!
