Kaylee and Brian, congratulations! I had been looking forward to this wedding for a loooong time because both Kaylee and Brian are such incredibly kind-hearted, gentle souls. I fell in love with them at their engagement session which was shot in 40 degree weather! Kaylee and Brian’s daughter, Lani, were in short sleeved dresses, and they were such troopers about it all! They were rewarded with the most perfect sunshine on their wedding day at the Chandelier of Gruene.
This wedding had some of the sweetest moments I have seen at a wedding. Immediately following their First Look, Kaylee and Brian quietly read vows to each other. I absolutely love when a couple does this because it is so intimate and sweet. It is the few calm, quiet moments of the day that Kaylee and Brian could focus completely on each other.
Brian’s daughter, Lani, completely has my heart! She is such a sweet and fun little girl! The moment that got the tears going was when she was supposed to walk down the aisle as flower girl. She got nervous and Brian walked from his place at the front of the ceremony to the back of the chapel, held her for a moment, and then slowly walked with her down the aisle. It was the sweetest gesture, symbolic of Brian walking Lani into this new family that is created that day. And it will be so special for Lani to look back on, especially when she gets married one day, and Brian will once again walk her down the aisle. Tears!!!
Kaylee and Brian’s whole day was filled with memorable and sweet moments, and it was an honor to photograph it all! Thank you so much, Kaylee and Brian!
