When Corinne saw a sign on the side of the road that read “Florence,” she had a sneaking suspicion that some funny business may be going on! J You see, Florence was a special place for Robert and Corinne. They had visited the winery before, staying in one of the beautiful villas, sipping on wine while soaking up the views of the vineyards and rolling hills. During their stay, the two went exploring on bicycles and loved this beautiful tree and the picnic table nestled in the shade below. Robert remembered how Corinne had loved it, and he knew it would be the perfect spot to ask her to be his wife.
I am amazed at the amount of work Robert put in to make Corinne feel so very loved! He prepared champagne, a bouquet, and flower petals that his mom, dad, and best bud set up before Corinne’s arrival to the vineyard. Robert also planned all of this from Dallas, all the while keeping it a surprise for her. I love the group effort to set up every special item that Robert had planned out!
All of the moving parts came together when Corinne and Robert arrived via rental car under the tree. Robert and Corinne walked with enormous smiles toward the picnic table beneath the tree. (I tried to smile a lot and not look like a creeper! Haha!) Robert suddenly paused and dropped to his knee, taking Corinne’s hands in his own. I absolutely love how he kept kissing her hands over and over as he proposed. Corinne’s eyes sparkled with excitement, and then the pair just melted into each other’s arms in JOY.
At the picnic table, the couple popped the champagne and enjoyed soaking up the moment together under their tree. They Facetimed close friends to make the announcement, and Robert had one final surprise waiting for Corinne up at the winery: both of their families were waiting to surprise Corinne and celebrate together!
Robert, thank you so much for having me be a part of your beautiful proposal to Corinne. It was such an honor to witness and capture your happiness together. Best wishes as you plan your life together!!!
