This couple is likely very used to—and maybe slightly tired of—being called “cute.” Katie and Trevor are stinkin’ adorable though, with charming smiles and eyes that brighten any room. So full of positive energy, you can’t help but be uplifted while chatting with them. In each other’s presence, they erupt into laughter, their shenanigans completely in sync with one other. That said, their souls are genuine and kind and thoughtful. While they began dating as high school students, it is clear they have built a solid foundation together; they are so much more than “cute.”
Four years ago, on the cusp of leaving teaching to begin photographing weddings full time, I had the honor of teaching Katie her senior year at Cedar Park High School. Hard-working, positive, and resilient, she’s every teacher’s dream. Through her effort and talent in dance, Katie became a Kilgore Rangerette, dancing her way around the world, until she headed on to the University of Texas, 4.0 GPA in tow. I was the kind of teacher who didn’t ask a lot of questions, and really only was there if kids wanted or needed to open up about their personal lives. So I didn’t know Katie had a boyfriend. And that his name was Trevor. And that he was in band. And that he was super sweet and smart. J
I am so happy I know now. J And I am so excited to photograph their memories together. Katie and Trevor, congrats to you!!! I can’t wait to capture all the love and joy of your day.
