It was in college in Kansas that Jacquelyn and Robert first met one another. Rob, a law student, fell hard for fellow student, Jackie. Over beers at the bar where Jackie’s brother worked, Robert quickly won over her family and friends. Robert’s friends and family were equally smitten with Jacquelyn. In the words of Robert’s best man, Matt: “Among our friends, Jacquelyn didn’t fit in. She stood out.”
The historic and elegant Driskill Hotel served as the location for their wedding celebration. After their tradition Catholic wedding, they headed off in a trolley with their bridal party and enjoyed the streets of Austin before heading to the Capitol building for photographs. Floral Renaissance outdid themselves with gorgeous blooms adorning the tables and the Royal Dukes kept the dance floor packed until late in the night.
