A guy walked into a bar. Bought a round of beers for his friends. And could not stop staring at the gorgeous brunette across the crowded room! Lucky for Chris, this girl kept making eyes right back at him! They counted six times their eyes would lock, and finally, when Sarah placed herself next to Chris, the two would talk. And talk they did.
Chris made certain to get Sarah’s number that night, and their first official date was at Willie G’s. The date started off on a precarious note, but once they got comfortable with each other again, the conversation was easy, and it carried them through until the restaurant closed. Their follow up date was make or break: An A&M football game date meant they’d spend nearly the whole day together. On the way to the game, Sarah challenged Chris to car karaoke, and he melted her heart with his rapping skills!!
Chris proposed to Sarah in August of 2017, and they both agreed they wanted a short engagement. A winter wedding at Addison Grove in Dripping Springs sounded perfect for them. Not even a month after they became engaged, Chris became seriously ill. He slept through the month of September and finally began his recovery. As his spirits returned to normal, Sarah and Chris took absolutely nothing for granted, so very grateful to have one another and to be in good health for their December wedding.
The level of compassion and patience they have for each other was so very evident on their wedding day. This couple is athletic and energetic and funny and FUN!!!! But I could see them adjusting to slowing down and showing gentleness and concern for each other. They stood strong together and embraced every single joyful moment of their day.
Their First Look was absolutely adorable!!! Since it was not easy for Sarah to spin in a circle and show off the dress, Chris encircled Sarah and the laughs and embraces that followed were priceless! The day was sunny and warm (despite the snow that fell only days prior!), and I love the light lilacs and greenery that they chose for their colors and décor.
Sarah and Chris, your day was absolutely beautiful, and I am overjoyed that you found each other!!! Thank you so much for having me capture it all!!!
