Amy and Michael met on a dating app, and when they met up at a burger joint, they were so intrigued with the conversation they were having with each other, that they shut the place down! Michael went in for a first kiss that night, but Amy was having none of it. However, they did go on a second date for brunch about a week later, and a sweet relationship began to form.
Y’all. On Amy and Michael’s wedding website, the “Our Story” section says one thing: “He was looking for his 100th problem and there she was.” The girl is hysterical! They are incredibly playful, and they are the sweetest pug parents to their darling pug, Clementine.
While they are full of laughs, it is very apparent that they are loving and caring individuals. Recently, what was supposed to be a dress-hunting weekend with just Amy’s close friends, became an engagement party, which became an intense celebration that everyone involved in the wedding decided they needed to be a part of! Relatives hopped on a plane and jetted to Oklahoma because they wanted to support Amy and Michael. It is a testament to who they are that their friends and family wanted so badly to be there to celebrate with them!
Their friends and family all came in to Austin for their wedding at Brodie Homestead. We had plenty of sunshine and a few hints of winter with the greenery they chose for décor and the plaid getting ready PJ’s Amy and her bridesmaids wore. After their gorgeous indoor ceremony, they danced the night away!
Amy and Michael, thank you so much for having me photograph your day! It was stunning! Congrats and best wishes as you begin your life as a married couple!
