It was in high school in St. Louis where Lisa and John became the best of friends. It is easy to imagine them as best friends–they are just so relaxed and easy going in each other’s presence. After high school, John moved to Illinois, and the pair lost touch. Lisa moved to Houston to pursue her job as an interior designer, and when she went home for the holidays, she reconnected with her long lost friend. She and John immediately realized their relationship was special, and they began a long distance relationship until the pair moved to St. Louis to join their lives together.
Lisa and John hale from St. Louis, so this was a destination wedding of sorts! For their rehearsal dinner, they took a boat down Town Lake, and I can’t think of a better way to show off Austin to their guests!
During Lisa and John’s ceremony, they devoted a special moment when they declared their love and commitment to raising John’s son, Zachary. Hands over his eyes, Zachary was either touched or overwhelmed, or probably some combination of the two. He knows he is so very loved, and seems excited for this newly formed family! Plus, little dude can cut a rug! He was jammin’ on that dance floor during the reception!
