It was social media that initially connected Alyssa and Will. They noticed one another online because they had numerous mutual friends, and Alyssa made the first move when she sent Will a message. The message led to texting which led to phone calls which eventually led to meeting in person, on Alyssa’s birthday! Meeting one another in person only solidified the connection they built from a distance.
Alyssa and Will are another one of my Longhorn/Aggie couples! Alyssa majored in psychology and will get her Master’s in counseling in San Antonio, while Will is pursuing his career in civil engineering. They are so excited to start their lives together in San Antonio!
Will proposed to Alyssa at the most magical place on earth: Disney World! When their bags were being checked, the security guard nodded at Will and under his breath whispered, “Good luck.” Alyssa definitely was aware that a proposal was on its way at some point soon, and Will knew she really wanted photos of it to remember! He took her to a scenic new spot in the park where he got down on one knee.
Alyssa and Will married at the Hummingbird House, and it was the perfect garden setting for their dreamy celebration. Alyssa showed her love and appreciation for her brothers, having them stand as her “bridesmen,” and Will’s twin and younger brother stood at his side as his “best men.” Alyssa and Will as individuals exude warmth and positivity, and together their joy is amplified. I am so happy you found one another and now can head into your adventure in life together! Congratulations, Alyssa and Will!
