Caitlyn + Ryan | New Year’s Eve Wedding at the Creek Haus in Dripping Springs

Caitlyn and Ryan are the kind of people you are dying to be friends with!! So energetic, so generous, so loving, and also so hysterically funny. They planned a New Year’s bash for their friends and family, and put every effort into ensuring they had an absolute BLAST every minute of every hour until they all celebrated at midnight. Throughout the day, Caitlyn, normally fun-loving and energetic, had a few tears of emotion on her cheeks as the meaning of the day sank in. Their adopted pups, Happy and Peaches, were in attendance and made their adorable debut in custom outfits.

The couple had an unforgettable First Look, full of messy crying which quickly turned into laughter, and then they both breathed a sigh of relief, relaxing as they knew all was set and ready for them to enjoy their day together. They loved on each other in the prettiest and most perfect weather that January in Texas had to offer.

They held their wedding at the Creek Haus in Dripping Springs, a perfect backdrop to their classic wedding. Guests were wowed with custom champagne glasses, elegant décor that included white vintage clocks, and the most delicious cake balls, arranged to spell out “Cheers.” A New Year’s Eve wedding means the reception is a bit on the longer side, so Caitlyn and Ryan filled the time with constant entertainment for their guests: there were lawn games, a few toasts (and roasts!), and a saxophone concert held by Caitlyn’s dad. The energy among Caitlyn and Ryan’s guests was palpable from the beginning, and held strong past the countdown to midnight. They had a blast with New Year’s Eve props like glasses and hats, and giant cardboard cutouts of Caitlyn and Ryan’s faces made for endless entertainment.

Caitlyn’s friends and family emphasized that she makes the best out of any situation she’s presented with. For example, when they were staying at a friend’s home in Houston and the power went out, instead of just going to bed, Caitlyn encouraged a late night karaoke party! On a deeper level, she connects with people and makes them feel comfortable. Ryan and Caitlyn’s friends and family created a book for her, and Caitlyn cried with joy as she read through it on her wedding day, blown away by the time and effort they spent creating it for her. Ryan is also fun-loving and energetic, but it was so sweet to see moments in the day bring out his serious side like when Caitlyn walked down the aisle toward him.

Caitlyn and Ryan, CONGRATS! Your wedding was unforgettable, and you pulled off an AWESOME party! I am so happy for you both and wish lifelong happiness together!
