Going in to her second season as a Houston Texans cheerleader, Amanda was one of several cheerleaders selected for a featured bio. The handsome new marketing intern, Greg, handed Amanda the questionnaire, and the two shared a quick but meaningful glance. Amanda sat beside Greg, and next to the man she would one day marry, she wrote in her bio about her future goals: “to marry the man of my dreams, raise a beautiful Christian family and to be a blessing in the lives of others.” She could not have predicted that such a significant part of her future was seated right next to her! She also could not have predicted that they would go on to have a beautiful daughter together, Madison, and celebrate a gorgeous wedding together.
The two were wed Camp Lucy at Ian’s Chapel, where they planned an elegant celebration with organic touches. Amanda’s bridesmaids, all former professional cheerleaders, donned amsale tulle gowns in ice, and Greg’s dapper groomsmen wore black Vera Wang tuxes. Amanda’s sister lended her calligraphy skills for the place settings, and with the rosemary and eucalyptus, the décor was clean and crisp.
It does not surprise me that Amanda’s goal in life was to be a “blessing in the life of others.” She is incredibly positive, genuine, and sweet. She met her match with Greg who is kind-hearted, attentive, and helpful. They are also dedicated parents to their beautiful two year-old. When Madison saw her mommy and daddy before the ceremony, she immediately planted the biggest kisses on both of them.
Greg and Amanda, thank you so very much for having me capture your gorgeous day! I am so happy for your sweet family!
