Cameron and Marci are the sweetest of high school sweethearts. They met when Marci, then just fifteen years-old, spotted the new kid in town, casually leaning on his truck after a basketball game. Cameron was sixteen years-old, and would reflect in his wedding vows that at just sixteen years of age, he made the most important decision in his life when he began dating Marci.
The two became inseparable and supported each other through college at Texas State in San Marcos. On a fishing trip with his family, the group posed for what was meant to be a family photo on Cameron’s dad’s boat, but turned into a surprise proposal that was shared with their family members.
Cameron and Marci wed at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown, Texas, and with a color palette of burgundies and pinks combined with the cooler weather outside, it was a celebration of autumn!
On her wedding day, Marci’s second grade students wrote her letters of support and love, and she took the time to enjoy each one. She laughed as they advised her to “not be scared,” and they promised they would be good “for six days straight” while she is out. They clearly adore her, and it is easy to see how much she loves each of them.
Marci and Cameron shared tears of happiness on their wedding day as they read their hand-written vows. Marci loves how she feels herself around Cameron, and he makes her laugh harder than anyone else. Cameron nailed it with his gift to Marci—Kendra Scott earrings—and was by her side to support her as they celebrated with their friends and family.
Marci and Cameron, thank you so very much for having me be a part of your special day!
