If you spend time with Jessie and Joel, it is pretty much guaranteed you’ll be laughing! The two exude warmth and seem to invite everyone around them to share in their joy. Jessie’s smile and energy is infectious, and while Joel will want you to believe he’s a classic introvert, he definitely has a fun and goofy side that quickly comes out.
This wedding was near and dear to my heart because Jessie’s mom, Debbie, was my coworker from my teaching days! She worked a ton with my husband (and always recalls how she shared in Phil’s first s’more cooking experience—they don’t really do s’mores in N. Ireland), and so, of course, I became close with her as well. It was amazing to celebrate the day with a beloved coworker and see her friends and family so happy! I also loved how Jessie honored her grandmother by wearing her shoes for her wedding.
Jessie and Joel wed at the Neill Cochran House near the University of Texas campus, and it was historic home meets backyard wedding. They had the barbecue cooking and the champagne flowing!
Jessie and Joel, it has been such fun getting to know you! Thank you so much for having me share in your wedding day!
