Kendall, a counselor, and Brad, a football and baseball coach, both work at the same high school They agree that basically everyone—students and teachers—was trying to match them up. Gradually, and perhaps inevitably, hanging out as co-workers and friends evolved into hanging out as a couple.
Their engagement story is one for the books! Brad had to go to great lengths to surprise Kendall, who has a very inquiring mind. The two had a trip to Boston planned where Brad decided to propose. He planned a sailboat trip around the bay but realized Kendall would think a proposal was coming if she knew about the romantic boat trip. To keep the engagement a surprise, he organized with the owner of the sailboat to approach them and ask them if they wanted a free tour of the bay so it didn’t look planned. Kendall was at first very hesitant to get on a stranger’s boat, but agreed when she saw Brad getting excited about it.
Even though she was starting to get suspicious, Brad managed to surprise her. Kendall’s surname is “Jackson,” which also happens to be the name of a popular wine. Brad pulled out a bottle of wine he had stowed away with the owner of the boat. Instead of “Kendall Jackson,” he had changed the wine label to read “Kendall Wuensche,” which is his last name.
Kendall and Brad pulled off a stunning wedding at Red Corral Ranch with their closest friends and family. Thank you so much to the fabulous vendors who worked so hard to make their day beautiful: Red Corral Ranch, Kristy Jiminez, The Flower Girl, People’s Choice Band, Sugarshackbakery, Hill Country Events.
