When Seve first met Trevor, she noticed his kind and gentle spirit. Trevor noticed her ocean blue eyes and long blonde hair. They met through Seve’s roommate while she was in nursing school, but it took some time before they would begin dating. While they often hung out (and now disagree on when their actual first date was), it was in a laundromat doing laundry when Trevor confessed his feelings. Seve is a free spirit and has goals of travel and adventure. It took her some time to see how a partner—and perhaps a new family—would fit into that. Knowing her love for travel and adventure, Trevor carved out a hole in the pages of a travel journal and placed a ring inside. He hid the journal in Seve’s apartment for her to find.
The couple planned an intimate wedding at Seve’s parents’ new home in London, Texas, surrounded by rolling hills and fields. It was a celebration of family as most family members had a special task in helping for the day: Seve’s grandfather was the pastor of the ceremony, her sister did the florals, and her brother and father did the cooking. Trevor, who remodels homes for a living, is actually in the process of finishing her parents’ home on the land. Seve’s parents were missionaries in South Africa, and Seve and her siblings were born and raised there. It is important for Seve to lead a life of service, and she treasures the way Trevor serves others in his life.
Congratulations, Seve and Trevor! I cannot wait to hear of the many travels and adventures you will experience in your life as a married couple!
